This was easy work for Ffion. She’s legit one of the most badass BJJ athletes , always going for the finish, aggressive and leaves everything on the Matt! My favourite BJJ athlete right now! So humble too.. ADCC champ and Worlds !!! Surprised to see her not use her judo in this fight, but that’s what makes her great, so confident in her abilities ! Ps it took flo long enough to upload one of her fights !!

She is definitely one of the most badass bjj athletes out there. But idk what u mean by “always going for the finish”, she held the same back position for like 2.5mins.

She does always go for the finish, however in this match I can see what you mean, she had a fair amount of time to work but she was working the choke which was being defended, you can see she was trying to transition to an arm bar too.. she’s a hunter, never stalls.

Also, many bjj people miss the intricate technique of highly-refined pressure. It feels like the person is just freakishly strong but it's all about body positioning, weight distribution, transitions and micro-transitions that keep you from ever being in weak transitional body position. Ribeiro brothers, Lovato, Roger, JT Torres - I see them all through Davies' game. That's why she's "super-strong". I'm a snob about who I let my sons learn from and Davies is on the short list.

IBJJF really needs to change the point system. Minus 1 for pulling guard or 2 POINTS for opponent when pulling guard. Also 1 point for kicking away and scrambling back up to feet. Finally advantage's for being on top.
