In the Gi are a lot of Meregali's takedowns using gi based grips, or no?

Why was Mathew so committed to holding onto that head and arm control while in closed guard? That is normally a position one holds in side control...
@user-vc65 сағат бұрын
The only plan I can reasonably think of ( besides him being a wrestler or mma guy new to jiu jitsu) is - he was trying to create an extremely closed n dull position. Which helps if a guy is much more technical then you Though for this plan to work the top player must be hella good at nullifying attacks in broken posture closed to actually survive without being scored or subbed ( mma fighters are specifically good at this positions . But in sport jits @ bb it barely ever happens n especially not intentionally) … the position is extremely good for the closed player ( it’s basically best case scenario) but it can be slow going with slow hip adjustments eventually setting up attacks that will be deep.

He was probably planning on a pretzel pass, but at 0:28 you see Jett lets go of his scoop grip and then employs and elbow frame which keeps the hips seperated

Pra quê insistir em 10min de luta, se os caras só vai lutar mesmo de 3 a 4? Já tá na hora de mudar isso aí hein. 6 minutos deveria ser o tempo para todas as faixas de adulto e todas as categorias.

Whoever the commentator is that’s being so rude to the woman on the broadcast needs to get fired. What a jerk!!! He thinks he’s being funny and it’s nothing more than showing what an ass he is. Hope he doesn’t treat the women in his life that way, if there are any?

Dangerous young man with excellent old school manners. That's the kind of guy you want in your community. He's smart enough to create a strategy to defeat the monster and strong and skilled enough to fight it directly if needed. If he decided to be the monster, good luck because chances are he'd win.
