A lot of people are experiencing this story for the first time and Square made the game to be enjoyable for first time players without knowledge of the OG. It’s really easy to tell that they targeted both OG and new players as well. Every single person who plays the Remake as new players are loving it and at the end they’re anticipating the second part. They’re fans like we all are.

Its awesome to see new fans coming in, but the thing some new fans might not be aware of is that this "remake" is only like the 1st few hours of the original game. There is an even grander adventure outside of midgar with many more amazing characters to come! VII's story is amazing and the game as a whole is widley considered one of the greatest, if not the greatest of all time for a damn good reason.

Harlequin novels don't contain men who behave like Corneo, unless he's an antagonist to be juxtaposed against the romantic interest.
