Playing this for the firs time recently I thought this was jenova theme (hear me out before you bash me) until I fight hojo and this theme comes and then I realised this is the theme for project jenova. hojo is the reason ff7 happens

I'm not sure what you're on about but Gast Faremis was the one that screwed up and caused everything that happened. He thought what he found was the remains of a Cetra but Jenova was actually an extraterrestrial life-form that actually had destroyed most of the Cetra civilization. Gast was basically trying to recreate the Cetra by combining Jenova's cells with humans. Hojo was just continuing Gast's work after Gast gave up upon finding Jenova wasn't Cetra. Jenova's corpse never should have been disturbed in the first place. Gast is the reason FF7 happens.

Not in the first part unless they make her a boss earlier on than the cargo ship. First game is only going to be in Midgar. So final boss so far looks like it will be the tank on the highway unless they change the story.

I *really* like this version. You knew EXACTLY what synth instruments needed to stay true to the original, and which needed to be more realistic. So many redone versions have a problem with this, and in the process lose the emotions associated with those sounds. I'd love to hear a V3!

I love this remix, I've always thought this was some of the greatest "Alert, you're fighting a dangerous enemy" themes, the only problem I have with your version is it sounds a lot less abrasive than the original and I think that was one of the things that made it sound so good.

Once again, awesome remake. =) And also once again, I have a question. xD What synth+preset did you use for the main melody line? I've been using a chorused sawtooth wave for it, but the tone used in the original as well as the one you use have a more 'airy' sort of sound that fits the song better.
