Difficulty tier list? I would go X, XIII & Tactics as the hardest. Then IV & VIII with the caveat that VIII's difficulty comes from the complexity of the junction system. Once you figure it out, it's one of the easiest even without doing any crazy exploiting or card farming. XII would be next kind of in the upper middle. It has quite a few tough bosses and the license board can be tough to wrap your head around. Then I put V, VI, & IX all in about the same tier. Then I, II, III. And Finally, VII & VX. I'm leaving out XVI because I haven't played it, yet.

If we are including spinoffs then yeah Tactics deserves its place at the top for sure.

​@@4-8Productions I've always included Tactics as a mainline. It came out on a primary system, got a fair bit of development time for the period (2 years,) plus it got spin offs of its own and then the numbered games started taking place in various versions of the world of Ivalice.
