Not sure if you know this already, but you can build atb faster with rise and fall active rather than using it up. With rise and fall (or the unfettered variant) you hold square to do the uppercut and interrupt that by pressing square, which will cause Tifa to do the finishing attack that normally happens after her FULL attack chain. Unbridled gives a damage and unfettered gives stagger build, but both give a lot more atb than you get by using up your chi, and you maintain the weapon bonuses from level 2 chi. You can also cancel the uppercut into Tifa's Divekick, which skips the the part where she jumps up and so you do it a lot faster and it becomes a reliable damager even better than True Strike. I tend to use concentration, unfettered (to get to level 3 chi), activate the atb boost materia with L1 and R1, then spam uppercut into divekick or uppercut into finisher if I don't have enough ATB. WIth very little practice, I was able to get Titan in 30 seconds, and I'm sure Odin would be similar.

Either Deadly Dodge or Parry materia let you slide in remake, I forget which of the two. They got rid of them and just incorporated parts of those materia into the default moves for rebirth

So you’ll notice some of his attacks have that purple glow around it, you don’t want to block or get hit by those at all. If you do get hit you’ll notice purple rings around your hands and that’s when he’ll start doing reprisal

I tried Odin twice and died instantly. I am not a super player at this game and refuse to get headaches by banging my head against the wall for hours and hours on end for...what? A summon I won't use? A failure of games above all else is when all fun is lost. The team that made Rebirth really really fucked a lot of it up. I will not be purchasing the third game and that makes me super depressed by how bad Rebirth is as a whole.
