Unlocking side quests based on what you do/say is really dumb and not needed, but thankfully we can go back with the chapter selections. Video was helpful and now i just need to finish the game and redo this one bit of story

So I did this during my 2nd playthrough and this time as hard that way I can kill two birds in 1 stone but I didn't get the trophy. I believe I need to do this is normal mode which is really ridiculous...

Does the dynamite body side quest come up automatically if you pick other options or does it have certain responses too?

The Dynamite body sidequest comes up if you make other choices and do Johnny's Discovery event. I did this on my first playthrough by making the following selections: She's in great shape. Talk to the guy outside and inside the hotel. Help Johnny do his discoveries. Complete The Party Never Stops and Burning Thighs. Then A Dynamite Body should show up. I'll post a video soon if that'll help. Just let me know and I can put it together for you.

I’m playing through the game again but have forgotten it, so before I came across this video.. I selected “Tifa is in good shape.” Does that option still work or will l have to select, “she’s good with handling books.”

You can still get it but you basically need to make sure you do both quest lines in Chapter 9. This one and the Johnny quest line.

Guyareto, This video was very helpful and I do appreciate it alot and showing us the correct way in doing the sidequest. :) I have a question on certain items and materia and can you let me know if these things can be collected again on a 2nd playthrough or not. Champion Belt, I have two so far but I wanted two more to have? Wind Materia, I have three in total but I wanted four to own? Magic Up, I have two total and can I get more and from where at?

Nope, just make sure you keep a save file that has access to the chapter select. Also I believe you have to finish the chapter out for any of your new progress to adjust the completion status. But I ended up making separate save files to clean up trophies and side quests I missed.

Ah ok because i am currently chapter 14 and did the two other quests in chepter 9 on a diffrent safe file i had and thought i could allready get the trophie

So I did what you did. Restart the chapter complete the side quest and everything but it still says i onlt completed 24/26 odd jobs and I still haven't got the trophy. Whats going on?

Does easy mode interfere with your complete normal mode?

Yeah it does. Try to treat reach same separately. So I made a save for my hard playthrough, and I'm using my normal mode save to jump back into chapters on easy. Hope that helps!

But in the normal mode if you change to easy it won't affect the full save, you won't get anything like "completed chapter 9 in easy mode" (I'm still not sure of how this works)

Basically, keep your first save. Then select what chapter you want and make a separate save. All your progress applies to the play log, regardless of what save it is on. So for instance, I did this trophy on my 3rd save on easy. I made a second save that is acting as my Hard playthrough. I don't touch my OG save that beat the game, I only use it for chapter select if I need it. Hope that helps!

It is a little complicated. Your best bet is to make sure you make a copy of your save after beating the game, then never touch it. That way you get all your original progress and whatever you do in subsequent saves.

Then you can always use that OG save to chapter select everything.

Yep, just make sure you make a separate save just to be safe. The play log should take into account all saves. You'll just want to make sure you use chapter select on a save that is missing the two side quests. It can be confusing. Hit me up on Twitter or Instagram if you need more help!

I've already got both of these quests done and they aren't the ones I'm missing, I haven't done the last 4 chapters though so I think I may have done these on the way to this point and the 2 I'm missing are going to be obvious

I don't understand why people complain about the side missions. What? Is it because they weren't in the original? If people turned of their nostalgia googles, they would realize that these are better than the side missions in FF Crisis Core. In Crisis Core, all they are, are just tedious endurance rounds with enemies becoming harder to kill as you progress. In FF7R, they feel similar to the Strangers and Freaks side missions from GTA 5 and Red Dead 2. At least Cloud doesn't need to look for dinosaur bones (I'm looking at YOU Red Dead 2!!!)
