Currently using Gere + ilabrat (never could get me a regal ring). I ended up choosing Lehko for a TP ring and some other multi-hit crit based ws's. Do you think this ring would be better than ilabrat for blade shun? Or is the crit chance dead on this ws?

Crit really doesn't help with Shun nearly as much as other stats. The attack on Ilabrat is definitely more useful unless you are already have capped attack.

@@NextGamesGuide that’s what I figured. I’m almost thinking of ditching Lehko (replace with eponas for tp) and go with Ephramad's Ring in place of a regal for ws’s or get Cornelia's Ring for hybrid ws’s … mostly play solo, which is why I initially went with Lehko.

How to unlock Odin or Blade: Shun? For Odin, you have to do "The Rider Cometh" first www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/The_Rider_Cometh For Shun, you can simply get that off the Nomad Moogle for merits with the quest Martial Mastery. www.bg-wiki.com/ffxi/Martial_Mastery

Hey - appreciate your videos. Do you recommend higher dex from armor than higher ws% damage? At the moment I have 5,8,3,4 and 10% (total 30%) on main armor. All the best.

For Shun yes. sadly WSD isn't as powerful on Shun as it is for many other ws's. Dex is key, especially if your attack capped.

In capped situations no, in trust situations Agony Jerkin +1 is BiS for body.

If you have Heishi Shorinken, is it better to spam Blade: shun and MB or is it better to create SC to Radiance and MB? for solo situations

It's really going to be mob specific. In general most things die to Shun/Shun/Light but if your going against a harder mob there are a variety of them that take great damage from multistep Radiance. On those it's simply a matter on if you can pull off the multistep. Meaning if it's an NM where you are having to constantly recast shadows then a multistep will be hard to reliably pull off without compromising your shadows. However, if your having no issues keeping shadows up then Multistep will normally pull way ahead here. So all very situation specific.
