I'm in the minority but I actually like Euerka. FFXI was my favorite mmo so this is right up my alley.

I played FFXI, it wasn't the same experience, but closer to it than the normal game, and while flawed, it was still a pretty interesting idea, and having completed the 2 relics from the past during this....... I really appreciated how straight-forward this was!

It's amazing to see a tribute of the CoP content from FFXI but, shame on them for making these bosses push overs. They need to up the difficulty and show players what these bosses really were about.

I think it can be done, since everyone has to actually play. In usual content there are always those that half-ass everything because there is no penalty from dying, so "might as well get carried"-mentality is strong. Though then again there are always those that find it fun to just cause a wipe and ruin it for everyone... So maybe it is impossible indeed. :'D

​@@Alternity666 Because they nerfed the living shit out of it and tied in a bunch of big gil items/mounts to activities lolol. Even with the nerfs, BA wouldnt fill naturally with the in-game systems. That only happens because of Discord organization.

@@chiselbit2 I mean, it's the same with DRS as far as I understand, they're both pretty similar in how they work. To be honest I think what is bringing people in is simply the experience boost, I don't see new mounts or whatever, it seems to be the same drop table as before.

This...is pretty awesome. Too bad I quit during Pagos but I'm at least happy Eureka got a lot better with Pyros and Hydatos. Now they at least have a decent baseline for Shadowbringers.

Literally took me 10 days to get Pagos relic on release. Guess how I did that? Instead of complain and cry, I did what was required and put effort. And no, I didn't play 12+ hours a day.

Hmm, the music reminds me a about Windurst (S) or, some of the past areas. But, yeah, I agree, it also reminds me of Xarcabard. ^^ Was exciting to see how many hoops ya had to jump through to get there. Like an old school FF game, hunting for secret/special bosses. XD

Calling it that fake AV is followed by the Ark Angels before fighting real AV. Yes I know it's highly unlikely because Sea and not Sky but Ark Angels was one of the most awesome fights in all of FFXI. Edit: isn't the other AV the one that spawns outside? There was a message that said 'An avatar of Absolute Virtue has appeared somewhere in Hydatos' when the portal was activated.

Well i did not like eureka as a whole, the public dungeon is really cool and i would not mind if they did more content like it in the future.
