Fun video to watch. So a little info you missed. In the cutscene with Ultima weapon when he explodes arena in a perfect circle Hydaelyn is the one that protects the party. You can see a shield form right before the place explodes from Ultima here at 15:16. Not being mean, just clearing that up. Also ARR is very much a Power of Friendship story. I actually would like to see how you enjoyed Heavenswards. That is one heck of a ride I wanna see.

Hey man I was like you, playing wow for years, playing rogue at wow classic, get bored of 2 skill rotation and took NIN for main job in FFXIV. And... I TOTALLY DON'T REGRET IT ! It's so awesome in higher level, rotation is hard enough to be interesting, fight as NIN is really challenging and really cool, you add damages to everyone, Mudra are cool and never switched to other class. I don't know if you hit 80 now but push to end game, you won't regret it

i actually took a small break as these youtube videos actually take alot of time to make. haha but i have since hit lvl 80, and hope to continue making some fun / funny content with end game and raidingh and such . but recording everything through leveling was tough. these videos took hours to edit... days.. actually weeks lol. and i sadly just don't have the time to balance everything. im still a fresh level 80. but i have loved every second of playing NIN thus far

Welcome aboard. Yeah, the MSQ from 2.0 to 2.55 are very tedious. Thankfully that didn't repeat anymore so during any expansion and post expansion/pre-next expansion are very good. Hopefully you will get to enjoy Heaveansward and maybe even Shadowbringers, and I would love to see yout thoughts about the journey.

Make sure to unlock and complete the Crystal tower alliance raids, they’re necessary for the most recent expansion

man... that was so cute. Cherish that moment because you'll seldom get that kind of party where everyone is new. I haven't had that type of adventure since 2013 when we were all new. I love the part were the tank got feared and couldn't move. He probably thought he was lagging and DPS blaming on him for not doing anything. Amazing lol. Just to answer your question, yes, those quest used to be a lot harder. And we used to do thing differently. Back then, our gearscore was less than 50. So many of us were sporting white gear that were 30's and 40's. Some didn't even wear any accessories because those were very expensive and MSQ never gave it out. We used to have TP. It's a stamina bar for Melee. Because of that, you were not able to spam AOE or be careless about attacking too much. We used to use cannons to kill those adds because tanks were so undergeared they used to go in there using invuln. We only had less than 10 seconds to get to the cannon and shoot down the adds before the tank died. We also had count downs for 4 cannons on the last boss. If not, NPC would pop up twice the number you see today and B-lines towards the cannon and breaks it. The MSQ raid was such much fun back then.

nice video, I really like the overall commentary, it might just match my humor but I found it hilarious. I dont know if this channel is dead since the last video came out like 7 months ago but I woudl really want you to continue the path of ninja series. Like I dont wanna subscribe if theres no signs of life for this channel :P

First time it was not so easy because no body had a gear to do it. The gear you get now from level 50 job quest. We never had it , we had to farm for it and the maximum gear level was 90 and it took few weeks to get it

With SHB expansion somehow everything got scaled down and lower lvl stuff is easier to beat, unless mechanics are screwed.

haukke manor isnt too tough but ugh navigating it is a nightmare thank glob you can teleport straight to the boss fight once someone reaches it!

I hope they fix / update Castrum Meridianum and Praetorium. I'm sure they were great when they first came out but they're very annoying now.

the unskippable cutscenes should be made skippable again for those of us that have already seen them a bunch of times and the veterans need to learn patience and let newbies watch them. but unfortanately i doubt it can happen.
