​@@roblox21242ultimates are hard-core raids and is pretty much the hardest content in the game to do. If you like the challenge, you'll definitely want to go there, but you gotta be willing to find and practice with a group before doing an attempt. Moogle mail has a compose button, which you can use to send messages and things(?). Walk up to the little guy in towns, should be at the top. As fpr the mounts or anything with the cash shop, free trial players don't have access to that until they have a full account.

if you buy it from the SE store, it doesn't automatically registered to your account, it just give a code, so you can buy and hold on the code until you want to use it. for example my friend had the code like 2 years and this was his idea.

same thing with steam too, you have to take the cd-key that steam gives you, and enter it into the Mog Station menu, so you can still play your free trial version after buying. as long as you dont apply the key. (this was the case at least, not sure with new steam account locking)

prior to stormblood being added my friend levelled every single combat class in the game to 60, all land and hand to 30 and even got every blue mage skill avalible. Took him 400 hours though with no market board

WoW isnt exactly the best standard, hell i'd say it has the lowest of standards. you can compare a handwarmer to a cigarette lighter but neither is a heater during a cold winter.

I have both a free trial and complete edition of the game. The complete edition is current and I have most of the content completed. I have the free trial version so I can see for myself what it's like to play with those restrictions on. It's an interesting experience to have both but I don't think I would recommend that to everyone unless they really like the game.

Tbh the most difficult obstacle as Free Trial player is Disciple of Hand and Disciple of Land content. The backtracking of gathering and crafting especially if you are not playing or experiencing all roles (tank, DPS, healer). Ooo boi you need those materias. Not included some scrip collecting and such as endgame expansion content Chat feature honestly didn't really affect that much since somebody in Novice Network will -kidnap- invite you. It's the daycare for sprouts and Free Trial fr The real moment i enjoyed being a Free Trial player is Extreme Trials and Relic Weapons. Without sub constraint, the moment to learn and enjoy such challenging mechanics in Extreme Trials is fun. Maybe for Relic Weapons, of course you cannot "cheap it out" with materials from Market Board. But hey, you have all the time before you burnout yourself from tediousness _psstZodiacWeaponscough_

I did crafting and gathering up to lvl 60 during the trial and it was a mess with no retainers and no Marketboard. But the grind was fun somehow :D

if you feel generous because the game is totally your taste: there is also a complete collector's edition for €49,99 at the moment. you may upgrade every expansion separately from basic to collector's edition at later time as well

@@ayvanray5285 first month is included in complete editions, next month is up to you to pay. a sub removes all restrictions the trial players have to put up with and you could hold multiple charcters on one realm which trial players cannot. the latter fact is more for convenience as you could learn any job on one character so additional characters are for funsies and good looks

Well, I'm currently FT player and I've been playing this game for 3 weeks now. I really enjoy it, a lot of people helped me even though I'm just a FT player. I also have reached some classes to level 70 (Summoner, Red Mage, and Samurai and the rest is like around level 50 to 60), all Gathering jobs to level 70, and all Crafting jobs to level 63 and yeah these crafting jobs would take a while for FT I guess since you can't access market board. At first, I thought it would took me like months to reach level 70, especially on crafting jobs, but I guess it's kinda easier than I though it would be. Yeah there is a lot of limitations for FT but it is what it is and I still enjoy this game.

Having access to most of the jobs is a very underrated perk of the free trial. I went fro Warrior, to Ninja, to Samurai, Red Mage, Dragoon and Machinist. Getting to do all that before even finishing Heavensward, hells 80% of those were before even unlocking Ishgard. Thats a really fun experience of you casually just like Final Fantasy systems

The Free Trial currently a really good way to get into the game. I am playing since the end of ARR and still remember, when I started out with the Free Trial, that only let you level up until 20 and gave you a 14 day restriction until you needed to buy the game.

Having played both FT and paying sprouts, I will say being able to get money and gifts is a game changer, plus I made quite a bit of money early on with the market board. FT is to embrace the survivalist lifestyle, but it gives a better view of how every hand and land job are related, as you experiment every steps first hand. I'm working on the Zeta weapons right now, the materia step is not for lazy folks. If you have a more social personality, paying may be better with Free Companies, housing and trading; if you rather play it on your own and don't fear the grind, Free Trial is for you.

300k max gil is easily hit just by doing MSQ, am at the end of ARR with max gil as a F2P. You get 15k gil alone just by doing the ultima weapon MSQ

tbh i'd rather buy mogstation gear on a free trial than paid. All of the cosmetics i bought are now like, like i bought a fancy dress and put it on the highest shelf so i couldnt reach it again, is how it feels. If that was on a free trial account then i'd never have lost them.

Imagine if they did away with the sub-based model and make it F2P. Of course some restrictions similar to the trial. But you wouldn't be locked into the subscription so long as you play the game. Maybe I don't understand the reasoning but FF14 would overtake WoW overnight if it had a F2P model.

What do you mean nobody uses party finder except on end game content??? That's how you get through the MSQ, by putting the fight you need to complete in party finder with the note "MSQ completion". Your queue pops in a few minutes.

The free trisl is perfect, the best way to understand if the fame is worth it for you or not. Still it’outrageous that we have to pay fo the expansion+subscription+extra shop. Either you make the game: 1) buy to play: i pay for tge game and rhe expansions and play forever 2)free to play, with a separate cas shop 2) subscription, where you pay every month but all the content is given to you, no extra to be paid

No actually you don't even need PS Plus for FF14. You only need to pay your subcription there, when you don't pay on a Free Trial account anymore.

They usually make another sale before new Expansion but I cannot remember for sure if it was that much cheaper all in all. If you want to start Downtrail on its release you need Shadowbringer and Endwalker Story finsihed anyways so it depends on how your plan on playing the game is aswell. There is no need on rushing tho /shrug.

Idk if you already made a decision but on sale the game is 30 dollars plus you'll want to pay 40 for dawntrail when it releases. (Or you could wait until dawntrail also goes on sale as it might take you a long time to even reach that part of the game) If you wait until dawntrail you can get dt plus the game for 60 dollars. So you save about 10 dollars waiting until then vs using the sale now but that's also a long way away.

it's not free, free trail isn't anything the subscription, it's too little time for too much content, when signing up there's a monthly fee if you haven't played for a while you won't even be ablew to access your account, so know that before signing up like i did, it's a great game that will leave you gutted if you can't afford it.
