That violin from 0:37 is so nostalgic, reminds me of FFV's opening theme. Also moogles are so cute, I just want to hug them all until they EXPLODE so they can't give anymore sidequests!

The moment when you first enter this map and just see those beautiful ruins while listening to that lonely violin. Going by the comments here, I can probably be glad that (so far) I haven't done too many sidequests yet and still love this map a lot.

On one hand, the side quests were A GRIND. On the other, they got me through the majority of a level + hey, crafting dailies! I also grew to love how incompetent and completely wacky Moogles were. Like, who forgets their stuff on the other side of the map ffs...

Honestly, I love the crap out of this zone. The music is beautiful, as is the scenery. Of all of them, this has been my favorite one to explore and learn more about. Even the creatures are neat!

+Malcolm Fitzpatrick I decided to do side quests on my 2nd character I was trying to get to 60. I was like ok, I finished these quests in this small area...wait there are more, let me do them, wait there are more? WHAT I'M NOT FINISHED YET?!

I am so glad to see I'm not the only one who hated the sidequests in Churning Mists. They almost drove me to insanity. It's the first time I've gotten pissed from doing quests. Ever. Towards the end the anger subsided and I was alternating between laughing maniacally whilst cursing the moogles and spacing out. I haven't gone back there since. Beautiful place with good music. I never want to see a moogle again though. At least the Heavensward ones.

Why is this called Landlords?
@pengwinsRus4 жыл бұрын
One of the big areas on this map is called the "Landlord Colony". Landlords are what the dragons (AKA Skylords) called people when they still lived in peace.
