I was look up for some way to do this fight. I had forgotten you did this fight already so I decided to check just to get some idea of how the fight goes. I just unlocked Ultimate recently after the struggle with Savage Exdeath and afternoon trying the fight for the first time I’m like “oh the struggle ended, now the nightmare begins.” I needed so much help with this fight some of the other players made it confusing with explanation. After looking at this you made it look easy haha but I know it’s the hardest fight in FFXIV. I need help lol.

Wonderful fight Happy! Go on keeping high monks's name! Can I ask you if you can do (or if you did it in the past) a video where you show how you put your hands on the keyboard? I'm not main monk, but I'm trying to optimize it. And I'm having difficulties with skill on 1, 1+, 1c, 2, 2+, 2c etc. I can't control all of them in that way T_T So at the very end I have to use my left hand for movements and 1-6 button's skills (main dps skills), and the right hand always on the mouse for the camera and for ALL the other skills. But I feel that this is not the best "configuration". So, if you can show us how you put your hands to control skills, movements and camera, it will be a very big help for us.

This is not a fight you can get carried, but being a youtuber and get a almost full party that had already cleared with patience to walk you through the hardest mechs for hours makes things a lot easier than the regular pug player.

enzoTHEferrari catch up on the new expansions, continue to level cap your main, after storm blood you will unlock creation tombs for 330 gear. Focus on gearing up, after storm blood you will also unlock Delta scape v1 through for, farm them for drops to trade in for 320 gear to alt until you can gear yourself up to 330, mean while save up on Rabanastre coins to upgrade to 340, or you can learn delta scape savage to farm 340 Genji gear. But if coming back to the game, main thing I can say is, catch up on the expansions and cap out your main class to 70. I'm sure your former FC will show you de wei, or join an FC who will.

Next month, there will be new tomestones and new raids. Probably ilvl 350 and 360 gear. Also, by the time you get through the main story, they will probably add the new Eureka content, so you'll be able to try to get the new relic weapon (and armor) ^^

天 buy a prebuilt at the minute mate, the ram and gpu prices are skyrocketing. If you’re just after a gaming pc and not for streaming/KZbin etc then an I5 8400, 16gb ddr4 memory and a gtx 1060 6gb will give you a pretty damn fine gaming experience for not too much money.

You don't need lv 70 to undersize, 60 would already be perfectly enough. Level 70s can do the fight completely alone in fact. Some classes were already capable of this at 60 with iLv 270 as max.

Limit breaks are situational. This video had a tank LB, healer LB, caster LB and multiple melee LBs, but as a general rule melee LBs are the most useful as they deal high single target damage. There are fights that are impossible to survive without tank LB though, and the damage a caster LB does to a single target isn't enough to make it more useful than holding onto the LB in case everything becomes spaghetti and you end up needing to use it with your healer, but there's a few fights where people will use caster LB as well in order to quickly damage a group of enemies.

Single target > AOE in terms of DPS on a single mob on literally any skill in any MMO. Then interesting part is that a caster LB3 on 2 mobs will do more damage than a melee LB3 on one but only if both targets have enough HP to recieve the full damage of the AOE limit. But usally trash mobs have too low HP so that only if it is like 1 boss, 3+ small adds a caster or ranged lb would be more beneficial. Let's take the Hashmal fight in Rabanstre as an Example: When Hashmal summons the 2 golems a aoe LB3 will always be more beneficial, since 1 limit wouldn't kill both and therfor it would do more damage than a single target LB3 on one. Even if it would only hit the 2 golems and not the boss that limit would do more damage, hitting Hashmal and the golems though would be the best outcome.

TBH, I find that fight awesome, and the fact they're making a hard fight is good, BUT the thing is, if you're a good player (or even very good player), you just can't kill this in PF, they should add a checkpoint later in stormblood in my opinion, because it is only available for statics :/

For real, that would make sense if only PF players would get it, but that would be too OP for statics in their progress, I know checkpoint make it a LOT easier, that was my thought of "nerfing" the fight without changing mechanics. So I take it that the difficulty of this fight is in dps checks? Because it looks like it's weaker than Creator in terms of mechanical difficulty (especially Golden phase, what a complete anti-climax though).

It is in the sheer number of mechanics one after another and the length of the fight, while in the very last phase it appears to be just surviving the extremely high damage - if anyone dies, it may be impossible to meet the enrage as the dead person lost the double damage buff.

I'm not seeing how the mechanics are more difficult. There's so little going on in most of the fight, especially during Golden phase. Compare this to something like A12S's mechanic vomit. From what little I've seen of pre-nerf Coil, Ultimate looks like a joke by comparison (although to be fair, from what I've heard Squeenix actually had to issue an apology for the original iteration of Coil). Hence why I'm assuming it's all in dps checks, because those wouldn't be apparent from this vid alone.
