I actually beat this with a THREE other players, all lv 99. I'm level 48. We all had Rampage and 2000+ ATK. Really fun and challenging.

I'm still grinding to get that Glauca's suit for 99 items.....only 33 more [A. I. only assisted] battles to go. I did get lucky...2 rare items to drop, The Gilgamesh daggers, and Mutant Mace of the Fierce.

Nice! If you want some advice for grinding those items I would recommend doing the first Gilgamesh mission. Use Diara or Diaga on a magic build and you can two shot the boss. I found that this mission is the fastest and load times are quick with the small fighting arena.

The katana is a boss break from the mission Dave-ja Vu(Besmirched Blade) and the shield can only be traded from Cauthess Depot(Trade: Ghastly Left Arm x2, Armor of Discord x2).

The stats are really not that troublesome. You grind items until you get the Cid food buff and then build all your powerful weapons at once. Thankfully your actual stats can't drop past 0 so funnelling oodles of Laser Sensors into your weapons is a really easy way of getting both absurd strength and absurd vitality. If you won't use magic you don't have to care about your magic being at 0 and thanks to the full resistances the 0 Spirit doesn't matter either. And then, as this video proves admirably, a Dragon's Whisker with Penetrator X in both slots ignores 100% defenses and thus leads to ridiculous damage numbers.

Beat both of them 2 days ago, they were hard. But looking at this, you made it look too easy. What items did you use to power up Amenohabakiri katana & Immortal Aegis shield?

That's great that you beat it. This was my fastest attempt after 5 tries. For the Amenohabakiri I have curaga and all my resistances on that weapon. The Immortal shield has Immune and I used all laser sensors on that. I have my build at the end of the video if you want to look into it.

Glauca's ensemble is a rare item drop for this mission. You can also buy it for 99 item tokens. I think this is the coolest looking armor in the game. Good luck grinding for it!

for some reason those two always targetting my main character and never bothered fighting the ally npc.

Corner and single out Ravus first and try to avoid fighting both of them at once. Ardyn tends to one shot everything if you attack him up close. Also revive teammates when they go down.

So have you ever tried killing Ardyn first? I did that for lols and realised that ravus was landing deathly blows after, Ardyn does'nt go into phase changes as long as Ravus lives and vis versa, I wish Ill have agis on nx time i test that, i dont use it cuz I cant find cactuar NECTAR

I also had this build for months XD but the truth is everybody copies each other. At this stage in the game there are only a hand full of viable builds and this was the most effective build that I tried. I hope people do copy me and improve this build so that this fight can be easier.

@@Raw_Abilityto bad this ravus/ardyn fight forces normal players to end up with a obligatory dragon wisker/ninja moves combo negating any other weapon, forcing everybody to use the same build.

@@bromthyrant3391 Yeah until they add new and better weapons. The rampage sigil is pretty broken along with the double penetrator x whiskers. It takes the fun out of fights but with this fight its a must have.

@@Raw_Ability How fun is comrades overall? I like the base games combat system but it has some problems like the infinite healing items and menu pausing all the time.

After 300 plus hours I can say this game had potential to be great but failed at delivering a multiplayer experience. Issues like loading times and match making made it almost unbearable even with a ps4 pro and ssd. There really isn't end game content unless you are a completionist like me and want every outfit and weapon. That aside I love Comrades combat and weapon crafting system. Theory crafting weapons and the process to build an op build was fun. It's also nice to see and play with other people with different builds. Overall yes the game is fun. No the multiplayer sucks ass.

I think if you are under-geared it will be a tough fight. Try partying up with players in the multiplayer mode. One tip on this fight if you are soloing is to keep your teammates alive and try to anticipate the bosses moves. Good luck!

That's not what I'd consider solo, solo would be having level 5 ai at best and useless comrades.

I wish there could be an option to turn off the AI because they are useless most of the time. I also doubt anybody can beat this mission solo without getting teammates to revive them. Ardus's one shot ability is too fast and op to dodge without getting hurt at least once.

@@Raw_Ability I've done flawless runs a couple of times, I end up taking a few punches but I heal it quickly with cornflower and then go back to dealing damage, all of those ''one shot'' abilities can be dodged easily, or you could have spirit and not die instantly.

Well I have one where I performed pretty okay while carrying a useless team. Sure they were distracting ardyn, but thery were distracting him right next to me, wich is no help at all. Also if you have comrades instead of AI They have extra hp? or extra regeneration? The most I got from carrying is 2 200 000 damage@@Raw_Ability just check my channel.

Nice! it's a very interesting way to approach this fight. Using dancing daggers to buff and aerial ace sigil to kite around dealing damage. Every time I solo this mission I always have around 1.76 mil damage because that's the average for 1 person. It's like you said more hp to the bosses for more comrades. 2.2 mil damage is good but I wouldn't put too much emphasis on your own damage but rather your damage in relation to the teams damage. Regardless if you have good or bad teammates having a high team score and a higher percentage of teams damage is always more impressive.
