How come no one mentioned the fact that the ref was holding Branko's right wrist as Dennis hit him twice and then attempted to kick him in the head while on the ground. Dennis should have been disqualified. He might have beat Branko, but never this way. It was a total violation of kick boxing rules in the ring. As it turned out N/C was the call, but Dennis should have lost by disqualification. YOU CAN NOT HIT A FIGHTER WHILE THE REF IS HOLDING HIM!

Branko fought like this against so many opponents ( he fought dirty) but that was an habit that he got fighting inside ex Yugoslavian borders where judges simply let him do whatever he wants, but once he got on the world stage he had so many controversial fights and dirty moves, and he never made an big name as he hoped to. Yes, he won first K1, but being the first K1 is also the reason why he won it, latter on that organisation became more serious and had better fighters.

I was sitting ringside during this fight. It was totally the lack of experience from the Referee. During the confusion he took off his referee shirt, so he would not be recognized and left the ring. Dennis thought he gave him the O.K. but he had his hand on Bronco's right arm the whole time then stepped out of the middle of the two fighters.

The ref should never enter the ring,, neither with a broom to clean it. 10:35 minus poimt for Cikatc, for a kick dowb below, but from his posizion, he either didn't see or, acted that he really didn't see that Alexio is trying to kick Cikatic tp the same place(but with no success) since 10:29 till Cikatic finally ended that the only way he could when ref didn't react when he should. So probaly Cikatic was to allow kicks in a groin just because those kicks were on the oposite side of the ref and ref maybe really didn't see those tries which Cikatic successfully was defending from, and I don't blame Cikatic for that one. Becausem he was preparing to give them a GO, but couldn't because he was still speaking to Cikatic, and Cikatic carefully listened and definitelly would hear a GO or FIGHT word(or even read from lips), and prepare his defence without waiting to be approached and get hit akmost from the back. The ref immediately knew that he made a mistake and tried to jump in, but too late. the harm was already done. Alexio would win it anywy, but this one is his shame and not a proudly 35th victory, where 35th is knock out. He should had won it with unanimous decision but on the points- Sorry for a long text.
