Man when Castoria came out, I thought about how great it would be for a Kama that could arts loop and here we are, one year later, with that being a reality. She's now my only NP2 servant on JP and I plan on also getting her NP5 like I did with OG Kama on NA.

I like these analysis comparison tho one thing to note for Astarte is that if you use her for Quick you're hands are tied with Kscope and a 3rd 50% Charger since Quick looper leans more towards high hit counts as for Buster the Damage will fall of if you're not fighting Humans/Man. At least those are my thoughts

Your vids are great. As a more long-term project, would you consider looking into individual classes and pointing out the best loopers for their respective systems? Your vids are more prevalent on data and facts rather than personal bias which is a refreshing change among the larger fate community.

Thanks for your observation, I do my best to present data and where it comes from over generalized statements when I can. As far as individual classes and the best loopers from them, similar to what xNaya did, I'll be making an in-depth Arts Tier List video in the future as we get closer to Castoria's release, just working on a lot of different projects in addition to my fulltime job at the moment, but do plan on completing a class-based Arts Looping Tier List video.

Thankfully more options are coming for farming, I love Space Ishtar and I didnt want her to be the only reliable arts farmer along with summer musashi/melt. This way people have more options and with the introduction of Koyan and Oberon things become even better, people can finally use their favorite servants instead of a dedicated farmer. Man I can't wait for the Spishtar banner and then Koyan for her buster memes with Spishtar... the ridiculous numbers she pulls on a buster brave chain extra card is ridiculous! I might even skip Castoria because she only works for little of my favorite servants while Koyan works with all my Rin faces, Gil, Tammy lancer, Enkidu, Quetz and even herself lol! Just doesnt work that well with my grailed Summer Ishtar and if there is a time I wanna have fun with arts i can just get friends castoria and use my grailed tamamo, pretty sure I can still 3t with plugsuit. Now hopefully quick gets some love soon.

Unfortunately I currently don't have the time to make comparison videos for every type of servant aside from the most popular/universal farmers but just to give a quick summary of the three (these will be assuming NP2, Lvl 10 Fragment of 2004 Mystic Code, and Level 100 Black Grail CE): Lambda - Can farm berserkers, neutral damage per enemy on 3rd wave about 158,939 Fionn - Good farmer, can't farm berserkers without plugsuit support or Arts Up/Starting NP CE, neutral damage per enemy on 3rd wave about 138,195 Percival - Good farmer, can't farm berserkers without plugsuit support or Arts Up/Starting NP CE, neutral damage per enemy on 3rd wave about 142,494

So I tested the assassin farming spot you picked. Ishtar cannot do it with the presented buffs. However. If you start off the process of your normal 3turn farming with her doing the usual, but instead use Altroias avalon first to get the attack buff. Ishatars np will be lvl 3 since she's already at np2. This gives her the needed attack and np buff needed to beat the high hp assassin. She completely blasts them out the water

1 more note that kama first and 2 aces are fast extremely fast even faster than salieri as i remember which make her np 7.5s(15s in normal spd) and 12s(24s) for SI which is almost 5s faster per np the closet we have before kama is 10s(20s) for mu and 9s(18) for salieri so kama can trim about 15s per battle when compare with istah(not including the skill usage animation and stuff) , now more and more servant have different set of skill and np which make some faster than other so i think we should count those in the mix like using castoria aces1 and faster form of np can trim down alot of time, about the comparison we just got one that faster than mu and safer than SI nothing special, tho can we have a comparison between form of a servant.

SpIshtar does more dmg than Kama with oberon NP dmg up. All the multipliers from his np makes it possible so even on the kama's charm turn, SpIshtar's ART NP with oberon does more damage. Considering both of them being supported by Oberon ofc. Thats something to consider Nice vid chalk!

nah.sometimes with oberon and sishtar and bgrail they dont kill 90++ nodes even with all buffs. but kama with charm mechanic w/ oberon same setup will kill that same node sihstar cant kill

They both are great right now with similar dmg but Spishtar is future proof. I mean you still will be able to use BG+Kama+Castorias+Oberon fine most of the times. Its just that BG+Spishtar+Castorias+Oberon is guarranted min Turn every single time in every single scenario. Also when Vitch and Oberon both comes out, you just gonna need both np1 to 3T Buster with Spishtar (which again, gonna bring her dmg even higher). Spishtar is so broken that she's still the only omnifarmer available in JP to these days.

I have both astarte and kama for farming and I use: You guessed it, Morgan. Mainly cause I don't need to worry about refunds. The less thinking when I'm farming, the better. That's my personal preference. Tho I am rollin for NP5 kama when she comes back just because I like her.

I know this only takes into account non plugsuit farming(but for 90+ nodes you'll be forced to use it anyways) Oberon makes Space Ishtar do more damage than Kama even if kama Charms(assuming s3 arts buff lands for Spishtar) , if Spishtar misses her s3 arts buff they will do the same damage if Kama charms, wich is unfair since Kama can't always charm servants because of Debuff resistance wich is between(10 to 64%, while most have 15 to 28%) So with Oberon Spishtar always will do the same or greater damage,so this is misleading (also space ishtar does even more damage in a buster setup)

Space Ishtar is still the better for farming because can loop with any support, Kama does not. I have both in JP and I still use Spishtar, and I'll use her more and more until Bond 15

Great analysis! Any opinions on what happens if you throw the second append skill, mana loading, into the mix, namely what 50% CEs you can get away with? Since you'll be basically starting out with at least 60% NP could you more reliably loop the first few waves by using both Castorias' second skills to get to 100% NP along with 60% NP gain on turn one, right?

There's too many 50% CEs out there for me to double check them all, but as far as the 20% NP gauge Append Skill someone else had brought this up and unfortunately for Space Ishtar against berserkers even when using both Castoria's NP gain up/battery skills first, Space Ishtar fell short by 10% in a 6CE comp against berserkers in my calculations (LB4 Free Quest Dival), otherwise she'd work just fine if you had extra battery from a CE or against any other class besides berserkers.

(Sample free quest used: Lostbelt 4 Dival) The only comp I see this making a difference in would be Space Ishtar's 6CE comp for Berserkers, and even then unfortunately when accounting for Space Ishtar's 20% Arts buff failing she will fall short by 3% at NP for the last wave even when you rearrange the order of Castoria's skills for the 20% Append skill. Space Ishtar still relies on her 20% Arts buff landing to farm berserkers in this setup which is not the most consistent with it's 80% chance of landing.

If you use a servant that gives buff success rate (Miyu, Calamity Jane, etc; with +40 chance) would it make the charm work every single time? Or the chances only increase if the enemy has debuff resistance down (Fuuma Kotarou, Semiramis)?

Good question, because charm only counts as a debuff, not a buff, buff success rate's would not apply here. You are correct debuff resist down is the only way to increase charm's chance of landing.

I want Spishtar to help future proof my account. Already got Musashi and plan to make both NP2. Even though Kama is technically the strongest best between the three though not by a large margin, I think unless the meta suddenly becomes tons of ruler enemies then I will get Summer Kama on her rerun instead. Hell I’m still trying to get normal Kama.

Clearly space ishtar wins 😎 I have to ask, using a np dmg calculator it gives me both of them do the same dmg en W3. And these numbers are with spishtar full buff 80npdmg 60atk up and 100 arts while kama 40atk 20npdmg and 130 arts with 50% multplier of her np vs charm. Are the results wrong? Or i didnt use the correct numbers?

Kama avenger has also the attribute advantage/dissadventage, while Space ishtar will only really deal damage to beast atribute enemies becauseshe is star, wich are only a handfull of story bosses, Kama on the other hand, will deal extra damage to most of the enemies in the game since most of them are earth
