Camazotz backstory here is tragic. The only reason he became a Beast is because all of humanity sacrificed themselves to him so he could become immortal and powerful enough to stop Ort, who was going to wipe out humanity anyway. He loved humanity, but ended up technically being the one who destroyed it, hence it made him a Beast.

@@WaterMelon27 Turns out LB7 did have humans as opposed to just deinos and the newly arrived Ocelomeh, but they were extinct 66 millions ago because ORT awakened at FULL POWER early, not the weakened one we fought but the full power ORT that the PHH will have to fight one day, seeing that there is no way to win, every surviving human sacrificed themself to power up their king into Camazotz, giving him immortality. So ORT and Camazotz fought for eons, kept dying and coming back to life because of his immortality, finally Camazotz managed to damage ORT by ripping out it's heart and weakening it back enough that it went back to sleep. Soo he won the battle temporarily but lost everything since his humanity is extinct and gone and poor guy went mad.

Its incredible how the most replayed part is still him grieving about those that sacrificed themselves for him and asking if they thought he and the kingdom were truly worth it despite most not understanding what he is specificaly saying. The VA really nailed it

This guy is the most GENUINELY sympathetic Beast. He is broken and can't take his followers lives and sacrifices being treated as a mistake by the universe. I can't really blame him. I I hope that they make them summonable, and that when they do, they give him some type of heartwarming scenes in Chaldea. After all of his suffering, this guy really deserves it.

He is a beast, but an odd one. He is an alternative Beast 1 from a pruned timeline where Humanity as we know it never actually got a chance to exist because of shenanigans involving the Dinosaurs and ORT. Technically, Camazotz is the last native Human left on Earth, as all of the rest committed themselves to a mass sacrifice to empower their king so he could defeat ORT while it rampaged, resulting in Mictlan's sun being re-empowered and allowing the Deinos, the descendants of the original Dinosaurs, to reawaken.

From what I've seen, basically after humanity sacrificed themselves for Camazotz he became immortal when fighting ORT, ended up as a stalling battle where eventually Camazotz, after trying many times, managed to rip-off ORT's core (Kukulkan in this lostbelt), shutting it down until the current events.
