I pulled for Sei today and somehow managed to get Bradamante. I thought I may have been in the incorrect banner...but I wasn't. Not unhappy about it as I now have her NP2, but it was very odd I thought

Well, looking forward to this more than that last one. Honestly, I REALLY don’t care for ‘tower’ events, and I didn’t even end up starting Amazoness at all, even if there were a few mats I would have liked. I don’t generally bother with challenge quests, but a Abby, Tamamo, Waver team does sound rather strong if you’re going for drains. Between Waver’s charging, and Tamamo’s cooldown reduction, Abby’s rather long cooldowns and poor NP gain aren’t so bad… maybe I’ll give it a try? Yang certainly isn’t a bad choice either… options, options

Don't bother burning the Valentine CEs. You get crap QP and no Mana Prisms even though they're MLB 4* CEs. They work great for EXP, though.

The upcoming anniversary is a good time to burn them. You can store them in the second archive and they'll be more viable...so I've been told/read.

Are CE's in general worth burning at all or should I just use them as pure experience?

@@chironthecuddley6144 Depends on how much of collector you are. Valentine's CEs are pretty useless outside of Valentine's events, and you can reacquire them every year, so from a gameplay POV, it only makes sense to hold onto a handful so you get a (minor) boost at the beginning of the next Valentine's event. That just goes for Valentine's CEs. Most normal CEs are worth holding onto, and some are incredibly useful. Even a lot of the 3* CEs, once limit broken, are useful for situations where you're limited in how much you can fit on your team, due to the lower cost of using those CEs. And 2* and below CEs are good to hold onto until your inventory fills up, at which time you should turn them into "CE bombs" (look it up) for leveling up your most useful CEs. Don't burn those, as they're basically useless if you do.

One exception to the above are the Mash Valentine CEs. As far as I can tell, you only get one or two chances each to get those, since they change every couple years, so those are not as easily reacquired as the Valentine's CEs for everyone else. Wish I'd realized that earlier, since I'm pretty sure I used her one from last year for EXP at some point, and the one from this year is new.

Pretty chill event. Nothing too crazy about it so I'll enjoy it plenty. Especially the Valentine's day scenes I'll be going for space Ishtar first. Side note wish fgo did these type of servant buffs more often but sadly they don't anymore. I loved how Cesar and Marie got buffs without a thematic reason and wish they did this for low stars without interlude campaigns or being a main for an event.

Speaking of the valentine event. Can we take a step back and look at how OVERPOWERED some of those gifts are? And the effects of said gifts stick after de-summoning (if we are to take what some servants say during those cutscenes). Some of them include: -immortality chocolates from Qin Shi Huan -Xanthos, one of Achilles`s horses -the arrow that is supposed to kill Karna -blessed silver bullet from Billy -wrestling training from Chiron -a sentient Apollo plushie from Paris (he says it turns into a simple plushie when Paris is not around but we can see it roaming at night in Master`s room so I am inclined to believe otherwise) -a meteorite assassination fan AND training sessions to learn how to use it, from Yan Qing -a 3 MILLION kcal chocolate bar form Calamity Jane -piglet-poisoned chocolates from Circe -a Lapiz bracelet from Gill (bare in mind that lapiz is the stuff he powered his cannons with.) Not to mention the...prized catalogues. Has anyone compiled a list with all of them, because I am certain there must be a lot more of them.

I spent 600 sq out of 800 to try and get Sei. And all I got was CEs for an event that never reruns. I only got one gold servant, and that was Sheba at the beginning. I think getting spooked by Mordred and Jeanne on Beni’s banner sucked all my luck. Sad thing is I really want Sei, but I’m not sure if I should keep pulling.
