However, his surname mac Róich is read マックロイ which if it's read with incorrect tone, can be read as 真っ黒(pitch black) From there, Fergus Lilly was referred from 真っ白い(pure white) and morphed to the term ""Mashiroy".

Short answer Max Limit Broken (or Break) Extra long answer (skip unless you're FGO newbie or soon-to-start) Craft Essences can be re-inforced by "feeding" other CE as EXP to level up which would increase HP and ATK boost. When fed identical CE, the limit of leveling up (varies depending on rarity) would be broken. When forth identical CE is the limit to this boost and the "Max Limit Break" will also result in boost on effect of CE. eg the Karna CE where the term was used have effect of +8% Buster Effectiveness +10% NP Strength&+10% Crit Strength. After MLB, boost increases to 10%, 15% and 15%. Some commemorative CE will come pre-MLB-ed.
