I like that when she was released that at the time people say she outranks Vlad for the Permanent SSR Art Single NP Berserker then Rank up that happened shortly later puts Vlad back up.

man, it's so sad that Arts doesn't have a Support that can reduce skill cooldowns, like Tamamo. if ONLY we have someone like Tamamo who can reduce skill cooldowns with her NP. sadly, we don't have a servant that can reduce skill cooldown just like Tamamo can. this is such a Mikon moment

Galatea is a lot of fun to use for challenging content, and her third skill can be a lifesaver, though for some reason it seems to clear DoTs and timer effects after they have already procced, which can make the skill much less useful in certain boss fights (Fluffy being a big example).

Consider that the artist for Galetea is also the artist for many of Frame Arm Girl's character, Shimada Fumikane, who is also the character artist for the World Witch series (Strike Witches).

I first started JP during the akihabara explosion event and pulled her as I was rolling through the story. She got me through a lot of bosses. Criminally underrated servant.

I have Galatea in JP when her first banner release, and oh boi she really helped me a lot in any challenge/boss stages. - Short answer : because she is effective to most classes, and her kit also have defensive like heal, def 100%, guts, remove debuff. Also her NP decreasing charge make her survive more easily. For a berserker having that kit is surely very broken. - The only downside she isn't build for farming or looping (offensive), mostly for defensive. And she doesn't have break invincible. But still, i will pull her ofc.

I love her in the Greek Mythology, I love her design, I love how good she is in the game, but I am a Free to Play kind of player so I have to prioritize other Servants this year T_T

I hope this spotlight does make people think about her a bit. An easy servant to slip through the cracks with how busted and popular some of the other servants are. I'm still probably going to pass. But I'll feel worse about it now. She's got a good kit. This does make me excited about the spotlights coming up though. We're getting pretty close to some great breakdowns for those LB6 characters.

The thing is, she wouldn't be nowhere near as forgettable if it weren't for the fact that Vlad already exists, and, depending on how long you've played, you've probably been spooked by the old man a couple times. Him getting his second NP upgrade to proper upgrade numbers put the nail in her coffin.

Yeah, her third skill really helps with a certain LB6 boss, her arts np can loop easily so that certain boss would be much easier, still I haven't seen anyone do a Galatea run to this day

While I do need another berserker, I really only pull for aesthetics over power and I'm not a fan of her design, so I likely to pull.

The problem with Galatea is when she releases. It's a bit close to when Servants like Melusine come out, but I still want her and I could definitely use all her benefits while also gaining a strong all around St Arts attacker besides Sitonai and Vlad (Squitoria isn't really an all rounder). It's great that Galatea seems to be a permanent servant

If I heard right she's also a permanent 5 star so unlike the situation with caren and Kagekiyo there's no need to rush to summon her especially if she'll spook ya on your attempts to summon Morgan lol A solid unit which even if vlad outdamages her however slightly I think people have already spoken their preference for Galatea over vlad especially since unlike vlad Galatea at least has a bit of team utility for certain battles while having better benefits to fire off her no more consistently than vlad. So a lower damage output seems like a fair trade

I appreciate you including some thoughts for new/f2p players, like in teambuilding where you rec Mash and Paracelsus! I’m in that spot as a returning player - I claimed a lot of compensation SQ when I redownloaded on a whim after a long break (only got up to Okeanos a few years back) so she’s my first 5*. Would Hans be a ridiculous choice for her as a budget support? It seems like he lends her a lot of value for NP gain when she doesn’t yet have access to Aphrodite’s grace to tie Buster cards to NP gen, and Hans’ NP ups her survivability and damage.

Shes the perfect example of a servant that can spook me any day but I won't be pulling for her since I have Morgan coming, and since we got pity early we will have a barghest and a babith banner which means I'm gonna be guaranteeing that np2 Morgan a man's gotta have priorities.

I was always unsure about getting her because I wasn’t sure if I should try to run to her by to try to use the Ssr ticket for Vlad but I got glad last year when I was rolling to the Castoria got spooked by him and that was my first copy of him I don’t have any other copies. I still have him at NP one. And I watch the video but I’m still undecided actually get it. It’s one of my main thing is I don’t mind getting two different characters that do the same. For example see if I got from Arjuna I would still run for Morgan because while they are both Aoe busters, they do different things Arjuna is more about doing massive Crit damage. While with Morgan she’s more about Wave clear farm clear and she has more supportability. So I’m unsure if I should still try to summon her of just see if I get spooked by her later in the year?

The way I see it is they've already maxed out Vlad with 4-5 buffs. She has only gotten one buff, and after only a single buff to her NP will overtake him on sheer utility alone. The potential here is astronomical. Her only real downsides are the single arts card giving poor synergy with supports and those cooldowns.

I'd say if you are looking to the future and don't mind waiting, roll for Kreimhild when she comes out next year. She's very similar to Galatea but a 4* so easier to obtain. I plan on doing event guides again moving forward, thanks for the support!

Right now I'm working on Space Ishtar to bond 10. I maxed all my JO servants but in NA I'm working in Caren since I got lucky and rolled her. The next servant I plan on rolling for is Morgan. As for buffing, I'd love to see Summer Abby buffed. And I'd like to see Beast Nero to come to FGO, hopefully for the Arcade collab
