Shirou during Gilgamesh fight in UBW visual novel : A heroic spirit who have mastered only one weapon will defeat an enemy with 100 weapons but mastered none. Gilgamesh may have something special to surpass this limitation, but I don't. Muramasa : Yes but what if you master ONLY weapon creation ? Shirou : MINDBLOWN PS : Gilgamesh have 2 things to compensate the weakness Shirou is talking about. First, because he have the prototype of every Noble Phantasm, he can use weapons similar to the ones who killed the Servant he's facing, or weapons with similar effects. He nearly killed Saber with Gram, but that's because Gram he's extremely powerful against dragon-types opponents. One of his weapon is Harpe prototype, the scythe used by Perseus to cut Gorgon head, and Harpe is described as being extremly useful against opponent with regeneration abilities, like vampires. Shirou can't copy to this extent such abilities, nor does he have the sure firepower of such prototypes like when Gilgamesh bypassed Heracles defenses during the Einzbern manor fight. As for the second thing, it's Ea. End of the story.
