Ensuring the transmission of preservation skills to future generations is essential to our mission to safeguard French architectural and cultural heritage. Since the inception of our program, we have supported over 530 brilliant young minds with career-defining transatlantic internships at exceptional institutions in France and the United States.
Caroline Montague, a master’s student at the Bard Graduate Center, undertook a 6-week internship at the Cognacq-Jay Museum, under the supervision of curator Sixtine de Saint-Léger, who is also an alumna of our education program. She participated in an FHS summer internship at the Barbara Museum of Art in San Francisco in 2001.
During her internship, Caroline Montague worked on the upcoming exhibition, “Luxe de Poche”, which will be showcased at the museum in Spring 2024.
We are very proud to train the next generation of preservationists and to witness yesterday’s interns becoming today’s internship supervisors!
