Fi’s Fight Back - heatwave!

Filmed a day in the life on a little heatwave in the UK!
Some food challenges, lots of me being too hot 😂 and some questions answered.

I love meteorology too! I live in Australia and during summer we get intense thunderstorms -My favourite weather! Which is funny because i was terrified of storms when i was younger as well ❤️ Just wanted to let you know you're an inspiration. I don't have an eating disorder but i suffer from past substance abuse issues and the journey is tough. thank you ❤️

Lovely to see you soundng more relaxed and happy 😊 omg seriously I honestly thought I was the only oddball who loves clouds and cloud formations, names of the different types of clouds, atmospheric conditions that produce various clouds, also rainbows and how they are formed. Sunrises and Sunsets are also fascinating to me!! Also read books about clouds and love observing the changing seasons ❤️🌤️🌈 Loved seeing Hugo playing in the paddling pool 💜😅 Well done for trying the Crunchie ice cream and for tackling the bread /sandwich issue despite it causing anxiety. Im always so happy to see you Fi! I can relate to you in so many ways! Im really happy with the hot weather lately too. Im always cold, and it feels nice not to have to wear layers of clothes! Youre outfits are super cute! Its funny when you mentioned having a struggle with bread lately. i think ive mentioned that before i also have a problem with bread. i cant seem to allow myself a whole piece. i always seem to wind up eating only half. the icecream looked good, another fear food for me. i love it but have trouble allowing myself to enjoy it. watching you do it, makes me feel a little more confident! Oh Loren! Thankyou for such a kind comment. I love it when it warms up (but not too hot though, unless I have access to a pool or the sea to cool down :'D ). I'm sorry you've experienced similar with bread. I know the only way out of it is to keep on facing it, no matter how scary. I'm glad my videos help at all. so much love! xxx

Ooh I love weather and stuff too, it was a past obsession but now less so although I always analyse what the weather is doing, and I love clouds and weather phenomenon too. My absolute favourite weather is wind (if it falls short of damaging things). And quite right diversity of interests is one of the joys of life, I love hearing about what people enjoy! 🤩

I am so, so, so excited to find another person obsessed with weather!!! I've always been absolutely into anything weather. I had this little flap book about weather as a kid that was the only thing I read and knew inside out. Never have I met another person who also has this special interest, and you have no idea how happy it makes me to know. My particular favourite is hail. Just really fascinated with how hail forms😅

I had the same!!!It had pages that were transparent and overlaid so you could see the different cloud formations, I love it (still have it of course!). Oh my god hugo's swimming pool is SO cute I am actually dying ahhh!! And yes the heat is so crazy - I remember ALWAYS being cold both in my relapse and in recovery and then it became summer and suddenly I was melting and I was like... I like this??? But I am also uncomfortable?? I am warm???? I have not felt like this in months and months??? What is this sorcery??? Hahahaha. And your point about letting yourself enjoy what you enjoy is so so so good. I love upcycling clothes and I love philsophy podcasts and yes that isnt really what other 24 yr olds do but so what?? I makes me bloody happy and that is what matters! Literally hearing you talk about the weather made me smile so much - people being really passionate about something is the best thing ever, whatever it is that floats their boat. Lots of love from the Netherlandssss xxxx ps we also have biscoff here but we call it Speculoos paste after the Speculaas biscuit. Don't think we have the ice cream though - I'm jelly!!!!!! xxx

@@Finding_Fi OMG YES I remember those sudden boiling phases!! My friends always used to joke that I was going through menopause hahahah. But yes it was layered outfits all the way, just having like 5 layers of clothes to take off and put back on all the time - let's just say we're fashionista's and make it into a fashion trend :') but yes summer is my fav time too now, when everyone is melting and staying inside I'll be out laying in the garden hahah. And speculous brownies sound like absolute bliss - might go and hunt these up in NL because I most defo need those in my life

Where do you get your paint by numbers? That butterfly one is beautiful. Your smile looks so bright in this video, and Hugo is adorable. I used to have a golden lab that always went swimming in our pool with me, Hugo reminds me of my boy Jake and brings back lots of great memories 🐶

I love clouds and weather too! Here in BC Canada we have beautiful weather changes and cloud formations. I always stop in awe of the clouds and get so excited when we have a good thunderstorm. Aside from snow, rainy, stormy weather is my favourite. Did you know that followers of Jesus will meet Him in the clouds one day? This makes me so excited. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 ESV Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Glad you were able to enjoy some warm weather and not have to be so cold. Blessings dear one.

I love weather too. I live in Louisiana (USA) and our weather can be quite volatile from hurricanes to tornadoes. if I were able to go back and do life again, I would be a meteorologist.

I've been watching your Q&A's hoping my question would come up but I haven't seen it. If you don't want to think about it to answer that is perfectly understandable. Do you know if your metabolism has changed? Going from nearly nothing to eat to regularly scheduled meals and snacks, does the human body process the food differently? I ask because I've recently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and the Dr has told me my body is "grabbing everything it can while it's in crises mode". Thank you for sharing your journey with us, you are very brave and very strong!

I do have it 3 times a week! I only film 1 to 2 days a week, and usually the same days (appointment days), where I usually have the same lunch on such day! Even in my last video I had H&F wrap :) it's still there, I just don't film all the time and certainly not every lunch! xxx

I have been following your journey from day 1 and I'm not exactly an angel nor recovered myself. Still like you, recovering from a relapse. I personally find it helpful if people check up if they feel I'm restricting as I am sometimes unaware myself of anorexia creeping in through the back door so to speak. I just want to see you succeed and be out of the wheelchair for a start and then achieve any other goals you set yourself, you got this 💪😘

Question: For a while I’ve noticed you eating yogurt that was fat and sugar free. I’m in recovery too and I had to switch from fat free yogurt to full fat yogurt. Is there a plan for you to start challenging full fat yogurt with sugar soon? You are doing amazing so far with challenging foods, so there’s no criticism, I just want to make sure you keep progressing in your recovery. Keep up the good work! ❤

We all have our hurdles, and for me the yoghurts has always been a tricky one.
