My daughter and I were talking about prom she's 14 and going to be a sophomore and I told her I was so overweight in high school and I had to wear a bridesmaid dress because I could not find a prom dress in my size I graduated in 2000 and she said mom they didn't have plus size dresses back then like it was so long ago I'm 40 I guess it was but if I could redo it I would love to go just prom dress shopping and think of what I would have picked out being a average size now that I've lost weight and kept it off not to boast but 150 lb and diabetes free and feel great about myself finally the age of 40 that's sad but true always teach my girls body positivity and healthy way of life so they didn't have to go through the things I did and with it being a different time I've seen some really cute plus size prom dresses
