She even believed her about OP cheating on her, and when she finally found out stepmom was lying the whole time he was just so happy to have her back? Sorry, no, there's no way I could be in a relationship with someone with that low an opinion of me. She's proven she didn't trust him and, by extension, proven he couldn't trust her. Usually it is better to not mention an inheritance. Sort of like when someone wins a large lotto amount. Like this case, OP’s money and his thoughts on spending his money people come out of the woodwork telling you that their needs or wants are somehow more important than the person whose money it is. Maybe it’s just me, but trust is a very valuable part of a relationship. OP was with his gf for five years and then she takes her step mom’s side over his.
