Tap it on either end with a hammer to rock it back and forth. Tap one end down and pry it out. Kinda hard to hurt it, you cab give it a good smack

@@ELDESTBuilds got it. I just need to use a few more choice 4 letter words on it. Thanks for your tutelage.

Those words convinced it to come loose. I know from experience.

What was the torque spec when you were using your torque ratchet

To take it off, everything I had plus. To put the big nut back on 150

Hey good buddy you forgot to reinstall the lower (metal) timing belt cover, that goes on “before” the crank pulley, otherwise you going to expose the timing belt to all sorts of elements.

Yes, it was intentional

@@ELDESTBuilds Great job overall, you've motivated me to do a lot more to my Fiat than I had planned, thanks. Btw, did you ever put that lower tb cover on, just leave it as is? I really like that header exhaust sys from Vicks, I may go with the header and midpipe, I have the same setup but my header downpipe is too close to my oil pan which burns out the pan gasket imo.

@@walterorr4040 I did not put the lower cover back on. Next time I have to change it I can just slide it out and slide in the new one without having to remove the front pulley. On the 79, there is nothing covering the pulleys. I think it looks better seeing the rotating assembly. It has over 5k with no issues. Here's a link to what it looks like. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHe7p4ash7V3bsU The full Vickauto.com exhaust looks and sounds great.

@@ELDESTBuilds Good luck with that, but there is no way you’re going to install it without removing the crank pulley, it’s simply not made that way. Now if I can only get my garage as organized as yours I could get all my projects done in half the time🙂

Buddy, I have done it already. It's in the 79 resto video
