Hi! What is the outside diameter of the two axle pipes connecting to the pumpkin? I need to purchase fasteners to secure the brake lines. Also, did you only put one quart of gear fluid? I read that 1.3 liters are needed. You could add the rest by lifting the front. I own a 1979 as well. Thank you for your helpful videos.

Unknown on the diameter, I used a hose clamp. Fill the differential till it pours out of the fill hole and it's done

Ugga dugga takes it off, Ugga dugga puts it on. It's been over 2 years with no issues.

@@ELDESTBuilds there's a right way and this way. Torque wrenches are cheap and any decent service manual will have the specs. Doesn't matter if you haven't had issues. Torquing to spec eliminates over stressing bolts. Over compressing gaskets etc. The specs are there for a reason. Nice catch with the reversed filler / drain plug BTW

@Jim-ku6ry thanks buddy, just because it's not on the video doesn't mean it wasn't done. GoPros run out of battery, edits run short, but try not to be too disappointed, that's my parents job.
