The interior door handle on my fiat 500 doesn’t return to the neutral position after pulling on it. I have to manually push it back. It also won’t move the lock position on its own even though I can hear the lock mechanism triggering. Do you think it’s an issue with the release cable or the lock actuator?

the fact that it doesnt return makes me think it is the actuator spring. take the door panel and see if the cable is stuck. otherwise remove the actuator and clean it up before you replace it. sometimes they rust out and get stuck

i m not sure what canbus brand it has, this was a generic ebay unit .

@@thefiathospital when you have time to check it it will be helpful for me and for many people’s that have this issue, coz there are a lot of canbus but 3 most used, simple, hiworld and riese, all Chinese… (in my “investigation “) hiworld and some models of raise works on fixing km flashing and steering wheel buttons the others no… hope in the future to get an answer from you ..

I am not an Android person and it took me forever to figure out how to access the apps by swiping the screen to the left. Doh!

what kind of radio did you buy? if you have the blinking odometer the first thing you must do is a PROXI alignment, you must have a proper OBD2 scanner that would do it .

@@thefiathospital it’s an xtrons radio. I was doing more research and it’s bc the car is searching for the blue & me thus the flashing mileage. So you are right, sounds like a proxy alignment will work.
