Most important question. Can you mount the Ferrari steering wheel on a abarth ? Splines are the same ? Airbag is the same connector ?

Hi, do you mean the OEM alarm system? To avoid the car to be stolen? It has nothing to do with the spacer, it's something electrical. Maybe a ground wire was joined to the minus wire of the battery and its terminal fell off during the disconnection. Perhaps you re-connect the negative terminal of the battery and you have a pending wire of the alarm hidden in the engine bay, close to the battery. Give a better look, maybe with a car electrician.
