I had this problem on my daughter's car.The car would fire up immediately and then die . After between 2- 6 attempts the engine would start .The engine light came on and I had the code specifying coolant circuit 1 - I changed the coolant temp. and nothing changed . Maybe I should have noted the behaviour of the temperature guage - which was normal. A new MAP sensor fixed the problem . Be careful when buying the sensor There are at least 2 sensors (maybe more) that look identical - but only one will work . Thank you for posting your video , it was very helpful.

I just changed the timing belt, water pump,thermostat and coolant but my temp is not rising working temp of 90C, cold start and driving are normal, heating working great (noticeably wormed than before ) …. Only when is working in neutral after riding rich 90 after some time but while riding not even 70. ? Any suggestions?

To sa mozem iba domnievat. Na prvy pohlaf to vyzera ako ze snimac teploty ukazuje zlu hodmotu. Bud je snimac pokazeny alebo naozaj dochadza k prehrievaniu a snimac je dobry.

Mi ani nenastartuje a píš překročena teplota motoru. Když je teplo, tak nastartuje relativně v pohodě. Zkusím odpojit a uvidíme co udělá.

I have problem with first start in cold days about -10 celsius, at the moment i changed temperature water sensor and problem still here... My airtake temperature sensor always show as 95 celsius and i think need to change this sensor...
