I found a better way without taking mirror off (as always ends up breaking) tilt the mirror away from you so you can see inside. You will see one of the clips from the cover, push on it to release and at the same time pull on the cover, it pops right off!

Hi great video, do u think it's possible to only remove the plastic caps of the mirror without detaching the whole mirror from the car?
