Fiat grande punto water in tailgate fix, also punto evo, common problem .

You are absolutely Right.. There are 2 other spots that water may leak due to time corrosion.. The center back panel of stop lights water pass through plastic corrosion and must be replaced.. The whole panel must be replace with new one.. Also the windshield arm on the boot it has plastic seal..it my case that small gasket corroded and water pass through the glass into the boot 😅 Model: Fiat Pundo Evo 2012

I have already done the stop lights but another place that is a potential leak waiting to happen is the rear high level brake light, don't know if you have seen my other videos on the punto or not , I covered water in the boot and more recently water in the sills in a couple of seperate videos . .

Great info Michael thanks, My Volvo c70 2006 water drips down when you open the boot when it’s been raining it’s annoying more then anything it’s a common issue, so the idea is open the boot slowly a little let the water drip into the gulleys and it’s ok then

There must be something special about Fiats. I've never found it. Had one at my work. The clutch collapsed and destroyed the tiny input shaft. It got fixed, then it just started falling apart over 6 months. The boss finally gave up and went Toyota. No more problems

If the inner panel fit the outer shell correctly they wouldn't need as much sealant.

The number one problem here is the name “FIAT” on the vehicle. Easiest problem in the world to avoid: Buy something else!😉😉😉

Poorly made cars ,tape off the body work either sides and use brush-able seem sealer from eBay - then dust some colour over
