I’had two Marea saloons back in the day back to back and they were great cars.

I remember these cars being everywhere in Italy in the mid 2000s, I've always hated them but now I cannot even remember the last time I saw one. The type of car FIAT used to make (cheap, reliable shitboxes with a lively engine that will last 200k miles with basic maintenance ) is just what we desperately need now. Thanks for the video

Think we need cars like that these days Tech is just crazy in modern cars

Very cool. For a moment I thought it was going to that motor museum to then get driven by your old mate Doug! I notice it lost its wheel trims since the Furious Driving test and gained some natty alloys!

Yes and some Bluetooth so we can play Marea Car-ey on repeat this Christmas!

Great adventure, Mr. Magill. We don’t have DHL over here anymore. They didn’t make it through The Great Recession (2007-9) intact, although they still have some international operations.

@@ciaran_socal A DHL truck just passed me today in Vermont....

We are not in Vermont this Christmas so looking forward to your updates to see it. (From Greenisland) Often wondered how practical it would be to send my old Toyota Land Cruiser out for the longer summer trips we take with kids, is it expensive to ship? Is paperwork difficult to navigate for trip? Would likely leave it from Christmas trip to summer trip.

That’s a 1966 Dodge at the airport, I’m much rather than the Citroen CX. Those gas pumps are confusing on the colour coding green=diesel, black=petroleum.
@alsodriven16 күн бұрын
Plus they swap colour depending on the station. Petrol is green at BP

In Brazil this car sold a lot! Both this SW version and the sedan, which was called Brava! Unfortunately, it did not have a good reputation because some poorly maintained cars caused problems, caught fire and harmed the model. Many even joke by calling them bombs...😅

Thankfully this one hasn't detonated lol

The Brava was a hatchback actually, the sedan was also called Marea

Did you pre-pay for gas or have the pumps stopped asking for a Zip Code when you use a card?

I always put on headphones for Also Driven videos, to enjoy that wonderful accent even more. Too bad the marea moved to Trump's country, it's a beautiful car!

Don't worry, her new home has a big pride flag in the front window

Idaho is definitely a much better home for a rare (but nobody cares) Fiat
@bigfish657425 күн бұрын
@@TinyScorpion44 The pride flag will certainly protect the Marea. Marea is a Latin girl's name that means from the sea, quite a fitting name now that the marea has crossed the ocean.
