I like the segment. But these really should be, at minimum, 20 minutes long. I don't want to see just action shots, I would really love to see something in-depth. I want to see the reasons they believe in their powertrain, their brand, and their commitments to better technology, environmental impact, and of course the desire to be number 1.

Everything that Alpine has said here has been completely undermined by them closing their F1 power unit production in Viry-Chatillon to become simultaneously both a manufacturer F1 team and a customer F1 team, which is frankly ridiculous.

An issue is that the only Alpine thing on this car is the livery, they took an Oreca chassis, a Mecachrome engine and the standard LMDh hybrid system 🤔

Yeah, the road relevance is definitely a reach; they could've just talked about the competitive aspect of it. And I'm not sure why French teams don't lean more into the fact of being the country where auto racing was invented… or the battle to become France's #1 racing team.

Oreca chassis isn't a problem at all, it's actually one of the best chassis in HyperCar. The problem is the engine and maybe their hybrid system, not allowing them to follow on the straight lines, where they obviously got distanced by the top 3 brands. They really need to work on their power performances.

Acura always used Oreca chassis in IMSA and there, no one complained. Cadillac also uses Dallara chassis and I see no problem in that.

The DNA of a brand also shows in technical details about the car : there are NONE in boths alpine and Ferrari videos Same for historical facts, it's part of the DNA : almost nothing is mentioned... I have a great test to check if a video is useless : if you had to sum it up to someone what would you say ? For these "meet the legends" videos I'm not even sur I could say something else than, it was empty : Didn't learn anything, didn't hear any meaningful interview

I am not usually someone who would comment something that might be seen as hate, but I need to know if anyone else feels the same. Is it just me, or are the episodes absolute garbage? There is no insight, nothing new, nothing interesting. Just the same old brands making an advertisement for themselves. All they yap about is how passionate they are n shi. Like damn, all of the teams are passionate. Jeez Alpine talked about le mans as a big thing, but they had less run time than the safety car. It just annoying. These series could have been something great, something I would sit down and watch for ~40 mins and find out more about the team and the championship. All we got is an 8-minute video of the team talking about how good of a team they are. One more thing, doesn't it annoy you when they don't talk English? Ferrari talked in Italian and alpine in french. Yeah, I understand that it is a team from that country, but god damn I am trying to watch the video not read the subtitles 😂 All in all I am happy that they are foing something like this, I am just disappointed with what WEC has lrovided us with after such an incredible season.

I absolutely agree! I'm so glad and happy to see these brands competing with each orher, when I was younger my wish was to see brands like Ferrari,Porsche, Lamborghini(Audi, Hyundai,Ford), Toyota, Aston... racing in one series and...yeah it seems like it's happening. And when WEC announced the Meet the Legends "Documentary" I was excited to watch 25-30 min. about history,Le Mans, technical informations and the present. But and 8 min. video? Cmon, its just a promo video from Alpine, and they're talking French!!! I can understand, the fact that the team is french, but a lot of people, doesn't know the language. So in conclusion its a trash, low quality, low effort video( series) from my side

@@vitreo1363 F1 is equivalent to german cars on the roads, very popular, but clearly not the best, while WEC is like Japaneses cars, only people who really knows about cars buy them. Or see it like that, it's not because the majority of people are watching F1, that they're right, it's like in politics, the majority is voting wrong, that's why many countries are getting bad ways. By the way, f1 never beaten LeMans in spectators.
