How interesting! At 5:09:00, the fuel light comes on, then goes off briefly when the Ferrari turns left. Then, it comes back on. Seems to indicate the sensor briefly detected more fuel due to the sloshing of the petrol. Cool!

Can't wait. I love sports car racing and for some reason, except for Le Mans itself, American sports car racing seems more traditional. Look at the age of the Sebring 12 Hours and the Daytona 24 Hours. Americans have stayed true to sports cars throughout, even when there weren't too many American cars. as I said... "CAN'T WAIT!"

Question for those familiar with WEC rules/specs: Is there a HP differential between GT-PRO and AM? IMSA has one between the GTLM and GTD classes, but a lot of car brands run in GTD that I don't see in AM, so I'm guessing they're not equivalent. A web search for an explanation wasn't successful - thanks in advance!

GTE AM are at least one year old GTE or GTLM cars but they are basically the same. GTD cars are GT3 cars which are totally different to GTE cars, that's the reason you see many brands in GTD that aren't racing in GTE Pro, Am or GTLM.

I think this season can exchange, because Toyota add it's weight more. From 875 kg to 930 kg. And 4h shanghai, lone star le mans. Rebellion non HY car won that race. LMP1-NonHY can do the fastest lap or pole position.

Lmp1 is for high budget teams and the lmp2 category is a lower budget prototype class. Lmp2 is kind of like a more affordable version of lmp1, nd therefore available for small teams and privateers.

Who is this idiot announcer that you stuck in the box with Alan McNish? He seriously asked Alan if Audi ever used Coca Cola to clean up the windshield.... Not to mention he pronounced just about every drivers name wrong. I can tell that I know more about sportscar racing than he does. PLEASE get a different announcer... Thankful for McNish being there to correct his mistakes and actually offer some knowledge of WEC and racing in general... It almost seems like they stuck a Nascar announcer in the box just because the race was in America. As an American, I'm actually embarrassed by this guy. Was there nobody else available? I'm only an hour into the race and I'm already tired of him saying "Paul Dalla LAYna" And someone please tell him that the Alpine is a French company and is pronounced "Alpeen"... It seems that American announcers only do a half arse job when calling anything other than NASCAR. I couldn't watch the Laguna seca round of IMSA series because the commentators just seemed so disinterested, and clearly not watching their screens enough when they completely missed a Bentley spinning out on the warm up lap. They kept the same commentators in the first half of the season, let them follow the series ALL season

They use Nascar announcers and it SUCKS. I miss real racing drivers doing the job. Speed Channel was THE BEST. They had Dorsey Schroeder, Calvin Fish, Sam Posey, and my favorite announcer ever - Justin Bell. Son of Derek Bell, Le Mans winner and funny/inappropriate as hell.

Colonel Section58 the Toyotas are screwed by the ballast they had to add so they are way slower than any other P1, if the ginettas would've raced here they would've beat the Toyotas too

The Toyotas (obviously faster) still lead the championship. But due to success ballast, they are artificially made to be slower. Its kinda like SuperGT. It mixes the racing up more, and the championship is more about getting the most points overall through the season.
