You won't become a basketball powerhouse overnight. You have to start from the grass roots. That's the same with football. Based on what I see, it would take both teams a decade more before they could go head to head with any euro team. That would only be possible if they would have a more realistic basketball program. Sure, having a good import is well and good but you still have to develop your locals. One man alone won't win games. That one win over Gilas by Indo in the last seagames is only good if you can consistently repeat it.
