You would think that based on the comments the last 24 hours, from the modern fans who just consume social media highlights and viral videos, that Brooks is some scrub. He literally averaged 17 and 18 a few years ago. He had a down year where he didn't need to pick up the scoring load because the other young players on Memphis really developed and improved

@Macorreia no, what the people who hate Brooks really hated was that he wasn't afraid to go after the untouchables: Golden State, or Lebron. That's what the Dillon Brooks haters truly hated the most; that he would go after them and go after them without backing down. What went viral last season wasn't any different than what Brooks has said, done or acted on in the years prior. And the only reason you say he bit off more than he could chew is Memphis got eliminated early after front running most of the season. But there were just as many moments last year where he backed up what he said vs the ones the didn't. NBA fans today just want to have selective memory because of what gained the the most traction.

@@littl3m0nkey Only reason Memphis lost to LA was them having literally 1 playable big, Adams and Clarke play and the Grizzlies win pretty easily. It's always the LeBron meat riders trying to act like any player who dares to speak against their "king" is a scrub.

I'm not a fan of Spain quite the contrary. But that out of bounds called with one minute left? That was a foul by a canadian. I've been following basketball since the 80s and still can't figure out how today some people can think certain contacts can be allowed. That's a foul yesterday, today, tomorrow and in a hundred years, otherwise basketball doesn't make sense. it is unacceptable for a player to be kicked off the field like that and to be called out of bounds

quite a lot of similarity between this and US-Lithuania Game The Euro team start off very strong, and both North America team cook slow. The watershed moment came in after 3rd Quarter and the 4th. US chased most of their point in the 2nd half, so did the Canadian, on the other hand, the only thing different is how Spain and Lithuanian shoot the ball. Lithuanian shoot 5/6 (2P) 4/6 (3P) to keep the score tight with the US, and Spain shoot 1/5 (or 1/6 I forgot) 2P and 1/6 3P and lose the plot. 4th Qtr seems to be the deciding factor between Euro Team and American Team.
