Luca is a great player but was left alone in the field. Greece Roster is superb in all ways. Almost all the players in the team have titles and experience. They could not win, but at least they could try to play as a team , instead of giving the ball to Luca and hoping to carry them.

This Greek team is the best I have seen since 2005-06 that won 🥇in Eurobasket and 🥈in the World Cup beating team USA in the semis. Fast, athletic, good shooting, excellent passing game, strong under the basket. They will dismantle whoever goes to the final. They may win a medal at the Olympics too if they improve and bond even further

Greece proved to be very aggressive team on offense. The team scored 96 points, Giannis had a mixed performance, Calathes was terrible from beyond the arc, but bench players along with Walkup made the difference.This means that the team has also other players that could score consistently.I think Slovenian Team is in a transition phase, players like Dragic and Prepelic are veterans, let's hope that Slovenia team will be back, it was harsh to see Luka suffer from such a defeat.

No one is saying he isn't eligble to play for team US, we're just saying it's a coward move to seek US citizenship instead of leading your own country. Giannis was actually born and grew up in Greece, and Luka has Serbian heritage, so he could've joined the successful Serbian team, but he instead chose to lead his country. Big difference!

The difference was that the Slovenians relied too much on Luka, while our team learnt the hard way that we mustn't expect everything from Giannis. Big respect to Luka though, he gave it everything. A real and true MVP. Huge respect to Vasilis Toliopoulos too. The lad has improved massively, he deserves all the praise and recognition he gets.

I really hope Luka starts to mature as a player. The ball dominance is such an issue for him it leads to turnovers and fast breaks. The Luka fans only focus on his good games but cant see the overall issue and why its easy for good teams to beat his style of play. Luka should focus on being 50/40/90 player because he is at his best when he is efficient scoring, turnovers, and has energy for defense. Teams know how to force him into turnovers and deep 3s if you cant see that as a fan the game plan to beat Luka is himself then you are blind

But if he continues to be that ball dominant he might never make it to finals again. His best attribute is not his scoring it’s his passing. That’s why teams target his passing to beat him. They want him to shoot more and turnover the ball. It is what it is. If you think he’s going won averaging 25 shots a game with 35% usage rate I think ur delusional. He should ideally shoot 18-20 shots a game and 20 should be considered a lot.

When Giannis won the championship with the Bucks he had the highest usage % in the NBA. When Embiid won the MVP he had the highest usage% in the NBA. And no one complained about them but they complain about Luka who is actually a point guard and he is expected to have higher usage than both of these guys.
