Born in 1949, this is still a first-time 'hear' for me. Thanx muchly for sharing, Frank! Love Fibber and Molly. Fibber could be quite a wordsmith at times, but Molly certainly had her moments, too. 'G.I. . . . Government Issue . . . Grand Investment . . . Gratitude Implied.' You hit it the nail right on the head, dear Lady. Victory Bonds would be a great idea now. I love taking a winter walk in a good blizzard, but I do it in gear that's designed to keep you warm and dry. I bet Fibber's "mucklucks" weren't much more then a pair of rubber galoshes he wore over an old pair of broughes.
