Very good video to put together to share this information. The first presenter is not good for this. Not enough description on each slide, and rushing. Not a welcoming attitude on the voice. The vibe was off. Also, the noise in the background for the first 30 minutes made it very hard to concentrate. Thank you Fluke Networks for putting these types of videos together. Looking forward to better videos from you.

@@breakznenta, actually, yes you can - power-over-fiber is commonly used in MRI machines. Basically, you have a light source at one end of the fiber and a photovoltaic ("solar") cell at the other end that converts the light back to electricity.

The only thing that can be sent over fiber optic fibers is laser light. What information is being transmitted over fiber is encoded during transmission and decoded at the receiver. Electricity is not sent over fiber optic fibers.
