FIBERGLASS CANOE REPAIR: restoring a nature bound canoe - part one - Finding cracks and hull prep -

Id imagine a lot of you have a canoe. I was given this canoe many years ago. It was not stable and had many leaks, and a TON of cracks. I think it was dropped off a truck or walked on. I have several students who have paid the shop to teach them boat restoration techniques. This will be a series of 4 or 5 videos cataloging the process to restore this canoe to its former glory. Well truthfully it will be better than it originally was. This first video consists of surveying the canoe sanding all the cracks and finding severe structural damage. By video two the entire hull will be sanded down and the fiberglass repair will begin. All of the fiberglass and epoxy resin has been provided to me from my amazing friends at #totalboat

Yeah I'd like to see the rest of what's going on with this boat. I've got something similar going on with mine. The belly is too soft. It was just a junk canoe and I want to try fixing it myself.

I film them as I go. So I’m not even sure how many videos will be in total. But I am filming spraying the alexseal paint right now. I like to have videos out on Sundays or Mondays. I do run a full time boat shop so don’t worry you’ll have them soon!! Thank you!

I know this is an older video lol but... comments on YT can be harsh on audio but that being said its a learning curve my man haha Just separate your audio from your video into file of its own and adjust the quality i.e (background noise, loud parts etc...) before adding it back to the final product during the editing process. Having a better mic helps alot but it aint everything. Good stuff though, keep it up brother man :)

I suggest you watch your own video, noting how many times you repeat yourself and the amount of empty dialogue. Of course to can say and do what ever you want, it's your channel.
