I just wanted to say thank you. I have a really hard time reading patterns, and remembering how to do the most basics of crochet;knitting or Tunisian stitches. (Short term memory loss) I love to do fiber arts now that I found them. There is something about the words that you use, the way you talk and the tone of your voice that I can remember. I have a ton of yarn but rarely make much more than a washcloth sized sample because I often feel defeated trying to remember what I was doing or where I was at in the pattern. At one time,I bought a lot of beautiful thinner yarn, with the hopes of making something truly pretty. It has sat in its shipping box for 9 months..... until I watched you do this stitch tutorial. I literally downloaded your video and watch it over and over. I can be going along fine and then set my work down for 15 minutes and forget all over again. As frustrating as that is, I can start your video over from the beginning and it all is right there and I’m off and running again!!!! Your voice is like I picked up with a funny trusted friend and I don’t feel defeated. I just listen and continue on with the tutorial. I will take me a while to finish what I want to make, but I’ve got your voice in my head and off we go again, sealing the loop and making the chain..... it matters what you do. Don’t ever forget that. With your help, finishing this project is the equivalent of a first year in college, nailing a huge project at work or running a marathon to someone like me, who’s world has shrunk down to 1/4 of what it was, this helps me go another day....In the big picture of the world, it’s not that big. But to someone like me...... it’s everything❤️

Loved this stitch! Easy, fast, and I started a scarf right away (starting with ch 29), and looks like it will be around 8" x 60" in one 3 oz. skein of yarn, probably #3 weight. The only problem I had was that my left side was too tight and hiking up. So instead of ch 3 on the return run I did a ch 4. Worked perfectly for me, and my sides are now straight.

Congrats on reaching 1000 followers!I love your channel! I've learned so much from you. I was hoping to have you do a tutorial on the crocodile crochet pattern. I've watched a couple of videos, but I haven't been able to follow them the way I can follow you. Thanks , Diane Bajorinas

Do you like the wooden hook or the metal better? I had some bamboo, and my yarn didn't seem to slide as easy.
