I know exactly what type of pain you’re describing...the rib pain that feels like you got beat up or hit by a bus. It’s awful. Have you heard of LDN (low-dose naltrexone)? It’s been a lifesaver for my EDS and arthritis pain which was previously misdiagnosed as fibromyalgia. If I forget a dose that hit by a bus pain comes back all over. It’s worth s try!! The doctors have mentioned alot of medications but I have said no to most of them. I'll look into this one though. I work for Medicaid with disabled people and the havoc that medications cause on their lives scares the ish out of me. One day they qualify the next they don't and they still need their medications and there is not much they can do as they can't afford it. God forbid I lose my job and I need all my meds. You lose that pain threshold once you've masked it even 80%. This happened with my migraines, I use to get them almost daily and I could still deal with life. Now I get 1 or 2 a month and I cannot function. As you can tell medications scare me ...I want to take as little as possible to function, it's just about finding the right combo.

Oh and no arthritis over here. We did a few tests. My bones and joints are perfectly healthy. It has to be fibro

I talked to my husband about LDN and I have tried it! I had horrible vivid nightmares and I couldn't keep up. @claire
