FibroPool FH-120 temperature adjustment

How to set the desired temperature on a FibroPool FH-120 Heat Pump. This pump comes factory set at 82 degrees and the directions on changing that temperature are incorrect. This video shows how to fix that software issue and get the heater working properly.

Every time I change the temperature, I view your Video, last year I set to 90 and the pool never made it past 87, but it was a cool less humid Summer, this year it hits 90 on the pool all the time, I just bumped it 95 to see if it would get there and it did, to warm now 😂. The best $500 I have ever spent, it was used.

I don't know if something is wrong with my control head, but your interface display is different than mine, and nothing happens when I hold the up-and-down button simultaneously. They appear exceptionally similar, just at no point does mine say in or out above the temperatures when running, and the general layout of valve is different

My manual gave two conflicting instructions for setting the temperature. I opted to let it heat to the factory setting of 82 before experimenting. Overnight, the temperature raised about 5 degrees to the preset temp. I tried both methods of setting the temperature, 'til one worked as shown. (Which turned out to be the method you illustrate here.) I set it to 87. However, the heater hasn't come back on since... By the way, the heater was packaged beautifully --- the cardboard was intact, there was more than sufficient foam protecting it, but it was beat to hell when I opened it. The fan cowling was badly dented inside, causing the fan to hit it, making a helluva racket. I fixed the dent, but a propeller is cracked. Don't know when that happened. I suspect before packaging like the rest.

I put it on standby > then set to 01 > hold up/down arrows and change the temp to 90 > i leave it alone until it turns on but it stayed in the low 70s for about an hour or two. I don't think my changes are going through.

Hooked mine up new 2 hours ago. My temp in and temp out are the same all the time. Any idea what isn’t working right?

Barson- I’m guessing you worked it out. It does take a while for the heat pump to start working although 2 hours should have been enough time to get at least 2 degrees separation between inflow and outflow. Is it working now?

I have questions, the sensor reads Ee03 to say there is no water flow, but there is water flowing, wha does this mean?

We followed these steps but the water doesn’t get warm We set the temperature to 99 degrees but nothing changes. Do you know what might be wrong?

We are still using this heater and I have no issues. The pump needs to be flowing water in order for the heater to kick on. Is that your issue?

They change this on the FH135 model. It’s now setting 26/27 and the arrows don’t work for changing temp. Anyone in comments figure this out. Please post

I just hooked up mine. How long does it take to start heating or to notice a temperature change? The heater and pump are running and it says 71 in 72 out. Thanks for showing how to adjust the temperature on this video, Russ.

Sorry for the delay. You’ve probably already figured it out, but it took ours roughly 2 days to go from mid 79’s to 90, running 24/7. We also have a solar cover, which is critical to maintaining the temperature.

Suburban Dad Thanks for the reply. I was waiting for an Intex hose to arrive, so I just hooked it up a couple of hours ago. There’s a leak from inside the heater, so I emailed the company tonight to see what they say.

Suburban Dad I had it hooked up for a few hours, but those hoses leaked and I had to shut it down and wait for an Intex hose.

What do you mean by leak? Ours has water inside the unit (a small amount) pretty consistently but it’s due to the condensation. It that what you have or are you sure it’s a leak?

Is it normal to have only 1 degree temperature rise? Mine shows 54 deg in and 55 deg out.The compressor appears to be running.
