@FichtenFoo great news, this will mean I can really take my time with my work in progress - I've got 3 AMT/ertl AT-ATs I'm working on, and it will be great to build up the weathering in such a controlled way :)

Hey, it is great to see you starting to do tutorials - you are very natural at them. Just a question on the oils though: Even though they have been given enough time to dry does the turpenoid not lift the previous layer when adding a new layer? Is it the same as when you re-work watercolour or does each layer dry more 'water' proof like oils? Keep up these tutorials, they are great. I've been following your blog for some time and this really complements it :)

I'm using this tech and I have to say that it's amazing. However, I'm having issues with the effects of making the soot near the vents. Can you tell me how you applied yours? Great work. Thanks.

+Azdave That's in a later video in this series. Dark pigment powder though. What's in this step is simply *not* painting that area and letting the dark primer show through.

Thinner on bandai plastic is NOT GOOD
@FichtenFoo3 ай бұрын
@@bryantphil5577 first up .. not the bandai kit. Fine Molds. Second, odorless turpenoid is 100% fine as it's super mild. I've been doing this for 24 years as a hobby and 15 professionally and have built a lot of bandai kits. Odorless turpenoid is wonderful.
