Hi guys, today I bring you an incredible comparison of fictitious land vehicles. It was a hard video to make but I love the result, I hope you enjoy it.
Some don't have official measurements, so they are measured by myself, as best as possible (adding a margin of error ±)

@@izanv007 those are the limitations with budget. Also the concept for the series shows, that the carts are intended to be 65 meters long. And they are 12 m tall. I loved seeing some of my favourite vehicles from video games and films, especially vah naboris from BOTW (never thought of the divine beasts as vehicles, but they are really), however kt got me that there was no reference to supreme commander anywhere. Surely the monkeylord or fatboy are two of the most iconic RTS vehicles in early video game history (?), and that you called the deserts of kharak entry "carrier" kind of leavs out any mention of the different classes of expedition land carrier used by the coalition alone. Yes, I'm an rts video game nerd. No, I don't know a thing about fps games like titanfall, destiny.

Yes, A Tyrell pyramid is about a mile high, so one side of the base would be about double that with a 45 degree slope on the side. Making each side 3200m. ...and there are TWO of them, with EIGHT slanted towers 1km high around the perimeter of each, for a total of 18 structures in the complex. (who knows how deep it goes.....) And that's just their headquarters, Imagine how big their off world production facilities must be!!! What I wonder, is how in such an over populated world as Blade Runner, a business manufacturing artificial humans is SOOOOO freakin successful? What is the basis of profit in this model? Good movie, but like most science fiction, it falls apart if you think about it too much. Also, now with it being a year past when that movie took place, it all seems kinda silly. How did they build all that stuff and make all those people so fast? The population of the Los Angeles metro would have to be over 250 million to fill all those buildings (not just tyrell), In reality, in 2020, the population of the LA metro is about 25 million, no mile high pyramids or replicants to be seen. We do have the flying cars, but people are too dumb driving on the ground, so they decided that was a bad idea. The police use drones instead.

On one hand I think the comparison should always go by the longest dimension (there's a tank in there in completely the wrong spot due to being compared by its HEIGHT) but then again I think trains have an unfair advantage. In theory, volume would be the ideal comparison, (but make it very difficult to measure) and except for "needle-like" shapes, comparing by length generally works, but trains break it. Maybe remove the (often almost unlimited) auxiliary cars when measuring? (I think judging a train by its engine alone is closer to fair)

5:04 Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

It has been definetelly been an iconic motion picture car in the late sixties - as long as you've been able to watch that anime show. Unfortunatelly it has lost almost all of it's status. The Wachovski-Siblings famous for their iconic 'matrix' real life / cgi motion pictures weren't able to revitalise the mach 5's earlier degree of fame. I still haven't found the time and chance to watch their movie - although I like their work as creative film makers. There are just to many consumable movies / shows not to forgett cinemas, streaming services and other internet developments competing for our time, money and attention! 😅 2021 I've been able to watch 258 movies / shows, making it the third year in row with 200 or more. Even when my days had 48 hours, I wouldn't be able to put my view on every attracting movie / series...🥶🤯 Maybe I watch that 'speed racer' movie one day. Maybe not. Who knows? 🤷‍♂️
