My father's favorite was Ragtime Annie. I used to drive him to his doctors appointments at BAMC, Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio. From our town in the Hill Country, it took almost an hour to get there. My first car with a CD player just fascinated him. He loved you could jump to any tune with no rewinding. Every trip we made it was fiddle going and fiddle coming back. On this trip, after figuring out how to work the player, we listened to Ragtime Annie all the way there and all the way back! As tired of hearing that tune as I was, I'd give anything to be able to do it again. Enjoyed it greatly, Your biggest fan in Texas, Amy

I was a dance caller and musician in Michigan for many years. One of my favorite things to do was to track down older callers and musicians. This tune is/was a favorite! I called a square dance that included a "C" part, but I sure do love your version!
