Femskaft - Devon's Tune of the Day 155

I just produced my first podcast! My friend Morten with Radio Folk Denmark asked me to make a podcast from my travels to Denmark this year, and while I was there I interviewed some fabulous musicians. This tune, "Femskaft", is a classic Danish fiddle tune from the island of Møns that I learned from the playing of Peter Uhrbrand, the great Fanø fiddler. I interviewed him for the podcast and he had fascinating stories about becoming part of Denmark's last living tradition of fiddle and dance music. Here's the link to listen to the podcast:

This tune, "Femskaft", is one of the my favorite Danish tunes and is played by a lot of Danish musicians. It's a real delight to play!
