My grandmother plays piano the exact same way. She will be 100 at the end of the month, and she often tells stories of her and my uncle bud playing the fiddle for the men after they had come back from a days work in the woods.

This is a good one. I never heard it called The Red Headed Fiddler but it is still one of my favorites that I have been playing for years. Your friend has a wonderful waltz rhythm. Any fiddler would be happy to have her for backup.
