A theater company I belong to just announced there hoping to do this haven’t got the lissens yet but I am so hoping. If we do my first role choice is going to be Chagall and then any other of tevias daughters or any of the other daughters. I’m kinda nervous never auditioned for a lead before. Any advice?? I’m 26 going to be 27 by show I’m short for my age

so i’m currently in fiddler and watching the scene where chava gets rejected, it hurts but i watched it for the first time at my practice, and what happens in ours is as he says no, people come on stage and sweep her away as you hear the most blood curdling screams from her. everyone in that room sheds a few tears.

It's my favorite musical of all time. I acted in it during my college years. I had the opportunity to direct it at my high school Alma mater last spring. I loved the set design. You had a great stage crew getting the set pieces on and off quickly. I always saw Yente as a comedic character. It was refreshing to see her played dramatically. Fruma-Sarah was awesome. I wished that she could have been more mobile. I liked the Rabbi's blessing for the sewing machine. I loved how the ending was staged. That last note of "Now I Have Everything" is rough. The actor sang great. Golde was my favorite by far. It was touching to see her tenderness portrayed in "Do You Love Me?". My only criticism was that the production seemed rushed. A lot of the nuances were missed because of the tempo. I thoroughly enjoyed every performance. MAZELTOV!!!!!!!!!!
